TEFRA Hearing for Lease-Purchase Agreement
The Briaroaks Fire Department is excited to announce that we are adding on to station 1 to provide sleeping quarters for our firefighters to more comfortably provide 24 hour coverage to our community. This addition will provide 4 double occupancy bunk rooms and an indoor workout area in a separate but attached building. To partially fund this purchase, we will be seeking financing through a Lease-Purchase agreement, the conditions of which are governed by TEFRA which requires a public hearing. The notice of public hearing is being posted in accordance with TEFRA rules and the hearing will be held on September 24, 2025 at 6pm at Station 1.Can I have a control burn?
